Return & Refund Policy

Last updated: August 25, 2026

Thank you for shopping with The GloStory. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order, as our preorder garments are produced specifically in response to customer orders.

PREORDER & PRODUCTION POLICY

The GloStory preorder garments are made to order. We do not maintain finished inventory of these garments for immediate shipment.

When you submit a preorder, your garment is allocated for production. Once a preorder has been submitted, it cannot be cancelled due to a change of mind, change of plans, or other personal circumstances.

Please review the product description, size chart, care information, and estimated shipping timeline carefully before placing your order.

Production & Shipping Timeline

Our preorder garments require approximately 45 days for production.

Each product page will provide an estimated shipping window based on our anticipated production schedule. For the initial preorder, the estimated shipping window is October 16-23, 2026.

Estimated shipping dates are not guaranteed. Production may occasionally take longer than anticipated due to circumstances outside of our control, including production schedules, material availability, quality-control requirements, supplier delays, or other unforeseen circumstances.

We allow a reasonable additional period of up to 15 calendar days beyond the stated estimated shipping window to accommodate unforeseen production or fulfillment delays.

If your order has not shipped after this additional period, please contact us for an update. If we determine that we are unable to fulfill your order within a reasonable additional timeframe, we may offer cancellation and a refund.

Shipping After Production

Once your garment has completed production and passes our quality-control inspection, it will be prepared for shipment.

After your order ships, please allow approximately 5–7 business days for delivery. You will receive tracking information once your order has shipped.

Because preorder garments are produced according to the preorder schedule, we strongly recommend that customers do not place an order for an event, vacation, wedding, trip, or other occasion where the garment is required by a specific date that falls close to or before the estimated shipping window.

CANCELLATIONS

Because preorder garments are placed into production specifically in response to customer orders, orders cannot ordinarily be cancelled once the preorder has been submitted.

We do not accept cancellation requests based on:

  • Change of mind
  • Change of plans
  • Selecting the wrong size
  • Deciding that you no longer want the garment
  • The garment being unsuitable for a particular event or occasion
  • The customer no longer needing the garment

If The GloStory is unable to fulfill an order, we will contact the customer and determine an appropriate resolution, which may include a refund.

RETURNS

We do not accept ordinary returns or exchanges on preorder garments.

Because each garment is produced specifically in response to a preorder, customers are responsible for reviewing the product description, size chart, measurements, care information, and preorder timeline before submitting their order.

Size & Fit

Please carefully review our size chart before ordering.

Choosing a size is the customer's responsibility. If you are between sizes, please use the measurements and fit guidance provided on the product page when selecting your size.

A garment that does not fit as expected because the customer selected the wrong size is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not eligible for a return or refund.

We strongly encourage customers who are uncertain about sizing to contact us before placing their preorder.

BATHSHEBA DRESS — LENGTH & CUSTOMIZATION

The Bathsheba Dress includes a distinctive fringe that is intentionally designed to allow the customer to customize the finished length according to their height and desired look.

Customers should review the product information and length guidance before making any alterations.

Once the garment has been cut, altered, tailored, or otherwise modified by the customer, it is considered final sale and is not eligible for a return or refund.

Please carefully consider your desired length before making any alterations.

MANUFACTURING DEFECTS

Although every garment undergoes a quality-control inspection before shipment, we recognize that an issue may occasionally occur during manufacturing.

If you believe your garment has a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery.

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs showing the issue
  • Additional photographs or information if requested

We will review the information and determine whether the issue constitutes a manufacturing defect.

Examples of potential manufacturing defects may include a significant construction issue, improperly secured component, or other material or workmanship problem that existed when the garment was produced.

If we determine that a manufacturing defect has occurred, we will work with you to determine an appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the nature of the issue and availability.

A customer's dissatisfaction with fit, styling, personal preference, or normal characteristics of a handmade garment does not by itself constitute a manufacturing defect.

HANDMADE VARIATIONS

Our garments incorporate handmade elements, including beading and fringe.

Because these elements are handcrafted, minor variations in bead placement, texture, spacing, color, or appearance may occur.

These variations are part of the character of a handmade garment and are not considered manufacturing defects when they do not materially affect the garment's construction or intended use.

CARE, MOISTURE & STORAGE

Some of our garments contain delicate beads and other materials that require appropriate care.

Exposure to moisture, humidity, water, perspiration, chemicals, perfumes, improper cleaning, or improper storage may affect certain materials, beads, finishes, or colors.

Customers are responsible for following the care and storage instructions provided with their garment.

Damage, deterioration, discoloration, or other issues resulting from improper care, storage, handling, cleaning, or environmental exposure are not considered manufacturing defects and are not eligible for a return or refund.

CUSTOMER ALTERATIONS & WEAR

We are not responsible for damage resulting from:

  • Cutting or altering the garment
  • Tailoring or modifying the garment
  • Removing or adding components
  • Snagging, pulling, or tearing caused by use
  • Improper handling
  • Improper cleaning
  • Improper storage
  • Failure to follow care instructions
  • Normal wear and tear

Once a garment has been altered by the customer, we cannot accept responsibility for issues resulting from that alteration.

DAMAGED PACKAGES

Please inspect your package and garment as soon as possible after delivery.

If your garment appears to have been damaged during shipping, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs of:

  • The garment
  • The shipping package
  • Any visible damage to the packaging
  • The shipping label

We may request additional information or documentation to assist with the investigation.

Where appropriate, The GloStory may pursue a claim with the shipping carrier. Depending on the circumstances, available inventory, and outcome of the investigation, we may provide an appropriate resolution, which may include replacement or refund.

Customers should not discard the damaged packaging or garment until we have completed our review, as these items may be necessary for a carrier claim.

LOST SHIPMENTS

If tracking indicates that your package has been delivered but you cannot locate it, or if the shipment appears to have been lost or significantly delayed, please contact us promptly.

We will review the tracking information and, where appropriate, work with the shipping carrier to investigate the shipment.

REFUNDS

When a refund is approved, the refund will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the order.

Once a refund has been initiated by The GloStory, the time it takes for the funds to appear in your account may depend on your payment provider or financial institution.

EXCEPTIONS

We understand that unusual circumstances may arise. If you believe your situation involves a manufacturing defect, fulfillment error, or another issue that should be reviewed, please contact us.

We reserve the right to review individual circumstances and determine an appropriate resolution.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
